Project Scope And Execution
Project included approximately five weeks of mobilization and pre-shutdown preparation, followed by critical duct tie-ins and installation of new equipment during a three-week plant shutdown. More than 25,000 lb of structural steel was erected and installed, along with more than 4,000 ft² of insulation on equipment and ductwork.
In total, the project required more than 7,300 labor hours across multiple construction disciplines. Major lifting activities were completed using 250-ton and 175-ton cranes, and extensive chute and ductwork erection was carried out through four levels of the Raw Mill Building, from the upper floors down to the lower process areas.
