Project Scope And Execution
Gas Cooling Water Injection System designed to deliver up to 20 GPM of water to a downcomer duct approximately 270 feet above grade, successfully achieving the required process temperature reduction.
A new injection platform was assembled and welded at ground level, then lifted into position using a 300-ton crane. Final alignment, field welding, and installation of the duct injection ports were completed at elevation.
The project also included more than 800 feet of piping, three injection lances, a compressed air receiver, an atomization control air rack, and a ground-level pump skid. Turnell Corp’s construction team performed both the mechanical and electrical installation, including insulation and winterization of the pump skid and water piping.
