Turnell Corp completed a feasibility study to evaluate the return on investment for a waste heat recovery power generation system. The study considered electricity cost savings and potential revenue from CO₂ credits, where applicable.

The study evaluated Rankine-cycle systems using water as the working fluid. The systems included heat recovery steam generators, condensing steam turbines with generator sets, alternative condenser arrangements, and water treatment systems.
