At Turnell Corp. we maintain an ongoing review of new technologies and methods to enhance our products and services. We highlight some of the modern innovative tools that we are currently utilizing in our projects. Three-dimensional modeling is our standard for plant designs. 3-D modeling technology helps improve the design process by making it more efficient and accurate, producing better overall design quality and fewer (expensive) errors. It is also easier to visualize and increases team collaboration. Turnell Corp. uses an electronic document management system to control documents internally. It offers safe storage for all versions of data, it allows us to track design data and prevent overwriting good work. Multiple users can simultaneously interact with the same design data set, but only one user at a time can edit a file. File management enables users to add files, check them in or out, and move them. Turnell Corp. uses a web-based project management and collaboration system to assist in collaboration between parties involved in projects. This system provides a central repository for project documents and provides several additional benefits including the following:
